Cherette is a district in the commune of Saint Louis considered to be one of the main centers of voodou in Haiti. A delegation of about 75 left yesterday, Sunday, April 28. The group led a great moment of worship at the Baptist Church of Cherette where SEED Institute students were responsible for worship, presentation of special songs, and preaching.
After the service we ate lunch and left for door-to-door evangelism in the various sections of Cherette (Chayou, Kadimanche, Anro Cherette, Viebouk, Anba Veritab, Medor, Bricourt). Our team reached 179 homes; a total of 13 folks prayed to receive Christ.
Please, pray for:
- The salvation of the voudou priest Saliba who admits his need for Christ; his grandfather came from Jerusalem, Israel.
- Youyou, a first year student, who received prayer in chapel for deliverance from an evil spirit 3 months ago. Yesterday, she was attacked again after the outreach.
- The staff and our family for the anointing of the Holy Spirit as we labor.
In the service of our King Jesus,
Frantz, Doris, and boys
